Founded in 1898, MILLET has become a major player in the rail freight wagon rental business in Europe. Having always been an independent, family-run business, our core business of wagon and locomotive rental has continued to grow over the years.
Specialising in tank wagons for the transport of dangerous goods until the mid-2000s, new customers have enabled us to successfully diversify into the grain and aggregate transport sector.

- A little history...
Millet SAS has always been a family business and our history began in 1898, when Paul Millet acquired his first wagon.
Since then, we have continued to grow, with a fleet of 1000 wagons in 1993, which has grown to over 7,700 wagons today.
- Some data
A wagon fleet of 7,700 units, 41% of which are petroleum and chemical products, 39% cereals, 11% gas and finally 9% aggregates and miscellaneous.
A growing proportion of our fleet is equipped with GPS equipment for accurate tracking of our wagons.
